Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor for many years. Most famously, he is known for the roles he was in "Law & Ordinance Special Victims Unit". While in college, he started to take an interest in acting. While at his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. He was also active on TV and film, his roles on the smaller screen are what brought him much recognition. The actor is able to play characters from both the bad and good side of the legal system. He has the ability to attract the attention of his audience easily. In his very first TV production, he played a serial murderer. Later he portrayed the role of an NYPD Investigator. His performances on small screens are rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. His most attractive facial feature is thought to be his striking blue eyes, which are considered as a signature and have aided in depicting the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
